MONDAY, SEPT 23- Finish reading novel while adding to the character analysis and before/after surgery chart.

TUESDAY, SEPT 24- Go over character analysis chart and summarize the novel.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT 25- Continue to go over the novel charts. Fill out theme handout for the novel. Read Frankenstein Ch 13 and go over. Highlight 10 of the literary terms on vocabulary handout that are called out and will be tested on next week. (tentatively next Wed)

THURSDAY, SEPT 26-  Compare literary elements of the novel and the related texts. Fill out a handout comparing and contrasting the texts in preparation for Friday’s Socratic Seminar. Write at least 3 higher-order thinking questions in preparation of the seminar tomorrow.

FRIDAY, SEPT 27- Participate in Socratic Seminar and fill out 2 handouts reflecting on performance in seminar.
