Library

Looking for a Book: Search our virtual library, Destiny Discover, for books that you may like to read. Use the search bar or scroll down to view the genre sections in our library. We also have a listing of popular and recently added books.

Checking Out a Book: Once you find a book that you would like, fill out the Destiny Discover Check-Out Request form. If the book is available, it will be delivered to you within 24 hours through your ELA class.

Book Return: You may return your book to the library at any time using the book return slot at the circulation desk. Late notices will be sent out after 3 weeks. 

E-Books: CMS does not own any e-books at this time. Some options are:

1. The app Cloud Library offers access to free e-books using your Ouachita Parish Public Library card number. Click here to view their list of e-services. If you are not a member of the OPPL, click here to find out how to become one. Disclaimer: CMS does not control the content found within the Cloud Library app. It serves all age groups not just the middle grades. 
2. The EPIC website offers access to free e-books. Our library code is kvq8329​. You may read as a guest or email acummings@opsb.net requesting that I add you as a student so you can have your own account.
